ROAD
The road has an essential role in the accident.
The geometry and the drag factor of the road modify the dynamic behaviour of vehicle.
When it is possible, we have to evaluate :
- Weather conditions at the moment of accident
- Road conditions (dry, wet, gravels, ice, coefficient of friction...)
- Complete roadway and shoulder geometry (slope, curve radius)
- Visibility issues (poles, walls, houses, road geometry...)
- Roadway and shoulder marks (brake marks, skid marks...)
- Complete crash scene sketch (vehicle positions, impact zone, measurements...)
